Rainer Marquass

Rainer Marquass joined Gaumont in July 2018. As Head of Development he oversees all developments of Gaumont Germany. After finishing university in 2005, he started his career as a Junior Producer at Cologne Film, working shortly after as an Executive Producer at Eyeworks and Warner Bros., creating and producing in particular TV Series as “Frau Temme sucht das Glück” (ARD), “Lobbyistin” (ZDFneo) or “Beste Schwestern” (RTL). He has been nominated for the Grimme Award (“Diese Kaminskis”) and developed the first German streaming series for Amazon (“You are wanted”). Now at Gaumont, he developed and produced “The Barbarians” (Netflix) and the upcoming “Westwall” (ZDF).
