Jiae Kim has worked at three different organizations throughout their career. Jiae began their professional experience in 2009 as a Researcher PHD Student at The University of British Columbia. In 2019, they moved to Samsung Electronics, where they held the role of Staff Engineer. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Gauss Labs as a Senior Applied Scientist.
Jiae Kim's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from The University of British Columbia, a Master's degree in Experimental Particle Physics from The University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Yonsei University. Additionally, in 2018 Jiae Kim obtained five certifications from Coursera in Data Analysis with Python, Data Visualization with Python, Databases and SQL for Data Science, Python for Data Science, and Machine Learning with Python.
