Dr Sudharsanam Balasubramaniam

Dr. Sudharsanam Balasubramaniam is a highly experienced public health professional currently serving as a Senior Specialist in Measurement and Strategic Information at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance since November 2023. Previously, Dr. Balasubramaniam held the position of Global Health Director and Staff Representative Board Member at Scope from July 2020 to October 2023. Prior roles include Manager of Evidence Measurement and Evaluation at the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) and several positions at Jhpiego, including Associate Director of Monitoring Evaluation and Research. Dr. Balasubramaniam has also contributed to the academic field as Adjunct Faculty and Faculty at the Elite School of Optometry. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University and a Doctor of Medicine in Community Medicine from JIPMER Pondicherry.
