Harpal Dhillon

Harpal Dhillon serves as a Legal Adviser at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, focusing on the COVAX Facility to expedite the development and equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccines. Since November 2017, Harpal has also been a Board Member and Governance Lead Trustee at BookTrust. Previous experience includes roles as Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel at J.P. Morgan and Associate Legal Counsel at Gavi from 2011 to 2014, as well as serving as Legal Counsel for Asia at Grameen Foundation on a pro bono basis. Harpal's earlier career at Linklaters involved advising on complex financial transactions, alongside a secondment at Citi. Educational qualifications include an LLM from Harvard Law School and an LLB/PCLL from The University of Hong Kong, with additional studies at the University of Alberta.
