Helen Liu Ph.D.

Helen Liu, PhD, CFA is currently serving as the Head of Investments at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance since November 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as an Investment Strategy & Risk Consultant from November 2018 to November 2021. Helen also has experience as a Quantitative Equity Researcher at Kepler FI (Subsidiary of GIC) from August 2019 to June 2020. Before that, they worked as a Senior Investment Risk Manager at ICMA-RC from December 2014 to September 2018. Helen has also served as a Financial Advisor at Pineknoll Capital LLC from May 2012 to November 2014. Helen'sprevious experiences include roles in portfolio management, quantitative analysis, and risk analysis at Lockheed Martin Investment Management Co., Putnam Investments, and Bank of America.

Helen Liu holds a PhD in Finance from Columbia Business School. Helen also has a Master's degree in Operations Research from Columbia Engineering, a Master's degree in Physics from Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Geophysics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
