The GAVI executive team has a long history of working in the health and medical industries. The CEO, Seth Berkley, has worked as an epidemiologist at the Task Force for Child Survival and as the Associate Director of the Health Sciences Division at The Rockefeller Foundation. He also served as the President and CEO of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative before taking his current position at GAVI.
