Matt Barrett has extensive work experience in the manufacturing and logistics industry. Matt currently serves as the Director of Operations at Gay Lea Foods. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President Manufacturing - ACE Bakery at Wonderbrands, where they led manufacturing operations across 6 ACE sites and ensured safety, product quality, and efficiency. Matt also worked as the Director of Manufacturing at Weston Foods, overseeing manufacturing operations in the US and Canada, and as a Plant Manager at various Weston Foods facilities. Additionally, they have experience in customer service, transport management, fleet management, and logistics analysis at Weston Bakeries. Matt began their career as a Logistics Intern at Apotex Inc., where they gained experience in process evaluation, facility design, and operations research.

Matt Barrett's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University, which they completed from 2001 to 2006.
