David Hughes

David Hughes is the Vice President of Engineering and Innovation at Gaylor Electric, Inc. since May 2023, bringing extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors. Prior roles include Construction Executive for a self-owned venture, Director of Virtual Design & Construction at Power Design Incorporated, where support was provided for various complex design-build projects, and Director of Quality Control at Truland Systems Corporation, overseeing electrical installation quality assessments. David also contributed to the establishment of a Virtual Design & Construction division at MCDean, supporting numerous high-value contracts. Early career experience includes serving as Electrical Foreman at IBEW Local 481, completing an apprenticeship and leading significant projects in the Indianapolis area. Educational background includes studies at Arizona State University and Northern Virginia Community College.
