Jerrold Kaplan, MD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jerrold started their career as a Medical Intern at Cambridge Hospital Affiliated with Harvard Medical School in 1988. Jerrold then moved on to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where they served as a Resident and Chief Resident in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation from 1989 to 1992. In 1992, they joined Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, where they held various roles including Vice President and Medical Director until 2008. In that same year, they founded Kaplan Rehabilitation and assumed the position of President & Medical Director. Most recently, Dr. Kaplan joined Gaylord Specialty Healthcare again in 2020 as the Medical Director of Outpatient and Workers' Compensation Services.

Jerrold Kaplan, MD completed their education at the University of Pennsylvania. From 1980 to 1984, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biological Basis of Behavior. Following this, they pursued their medical education and received a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the same university from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Kaplan holds a certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
