Director Of Business Development - Life Sciences at GBA

Matthew Gorton has extensive experience in business development and sales roles. Matthew is currently the Director of Business Development for Life Sciences in the Western Region at GBA. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Business Development at DPS Group Global. Matthew also held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Automated Systems of Tacoma (AST), where they played a key role in revolutionizing the cGMP aseptic small batch fill/finish industry. Before that, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Bosch Packaging Technology, managing sales activities for the liquid pharmaceutical division in the Central region of the United States. Matthew also worked at FOSS as an Industry Sales Manager, selling capital equipment to various industries, and as the Marketing & CRM Software Manager for FOSS Analytical A/S. Additionally, they gained political experience as a Campaign Manager & Caucus Page for the Minnesota State Senate and as the Assistant COO for the Center for the Study of the Presidency. Matthew also worked as a Technology Consultant for the Richard Lounsbery Foundation and interned for the Office of Surface Mining.

Matthew Gorton completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Political Science at Truman State University from 1997 to 2002. Matthew then pursued further education at the University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Master of Business degree from the Carlson School of Management in 2010.
