Adam Royal

Adam Royal has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. Adam started their career in 2005 as a VAT Assistant Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. In 2006, they joined Deloitte UK as a Financial Services Audit Manager, where they managed engagements in a number of business sectors within financial services, manufacturing, and entrepreneurial business. In 2013, they moved to EY as an Audit Manager. In 2015, they became the Financial Controller at Darlington Building Society, where they were responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the Finance department and was a member of the Society's ALCO, Pricing, and Product Governance Committees. Finally, in 2019, they were appointed as the Head of Finance at GB Bank.

Adam Royal obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) First Class in Accountancy from Northumbria University between 2001 and 2004. Adam then went on to gain a Fellow (FCA) from ICAEW between 2006 and 2009.
