Chris Jeffery

Chris Jeffery is an experienced professional in data protection and privacy, currently serving as the Data Protection Manager at GBG Plc since January 2022. Prior to this role, Chris held multiple positions at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) from June 2008 to January 2022, including IT Data Privacy Manager, where responsibilities included GDPR compliance project delivery, OneTrust implementation, and data processing activity mapping. Additional expertise includes the development of data breach response procedures and risk assessments, as well as the creation of privacy training materials. Chris possesses a BSc in Business Studies from Swansea University, obtained from 1996 to 1999, and completed secondary education at Chalfonts Community College from 1990 to 1996.
