Sok Lim Chew

Sok Lim Chew is a Senior Data Engineer at GBG Plc since April 2018, with prior experience as a Data Engineer at GBG Loqate from December 2016 to April 2018, and as a Software Engineer at Mid-vale Advisory from April 2016 to December 2016. Sok began a career in data-related roles after serving as a Scientific Executive at ACGT Sdn Bhd from March 2014 to April 2016, where involvement included bioinformatic analysis of Sanger and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data. Furthermore, Sok completed an internship at ACGT Sdn Bhd focused on mitochondrial genes and phylogenetic construction in July and August 2013. Previous experience includes a tutoring role at Bright Kids from May 2010 to June 2012. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioinformatics from Universiti Malaya (2010-2014), complemented by various online courses in artificial intelligence and data engineering in 2022.
