Sangeeta Naik

Sangeeta Naik has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and sectors. Sangeeta is currently serving as the President of the Odisha Coaching Council at Sync since 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Sa-Dhan, including Vice President of Special Projects and Strategic Partnership Consultant from 2016 to 2021. In these positions, they were involved in various initiatives such as facilitating affordable housing for fishermen communities, capacity building of microfinance institutions, and executing training programs for depositor awareness.

Before their time at Sa-Dhan, Naik worked at BASIX as a Senior Manager in Watershed Development and Climate Change from 2016 to 2017. In this role, they implemented projects involving watershed development and community mobilization in Khunti district.

Earlier in their career, Naik held positions at Indian Grameen Services (BASIX), where they worked as the Senior Manager and Head of Human Resource Development from 2015 to 2016. Sangeeta also served as a Project Manager for the Bandhavgarh Alternative Livelihood Project and Manager Strategic Initiative. Sangeeta Naik pursued their education in a variety of fields. From 1985 to 1987, they attended Utkal University and obtained a Masters in Science degree in Mathematics. In 1992, they enrolled in Indira Gandhi National Open University for a Diploma in computers in Office Management, which focused on streamlining office management with the help of computers. In 1989 and 1990, Sangeeta attended the International Institute of Management Sciences and completed a PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications) program, specializing in computer applications.

For their secondary education, Sangeeta attended Lady Lewis Girls' High School from 1972 to 1981, where they completed their HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) with a focus on subjects such as Maths, Science, History, Geography, Civics, Sanskrit, and English.
