Sam McCumiskey has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector, with a significant focus on project management and operational leadership. Currently serving as the Managing Director for gbpConsult at gbpartnerships since May 2015, Sam oversees consultancy services, following a 22-year tenure in the NHS. Previous roles include Project Director for the Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, where responsibilities involved directing significant capital projects, and Assistant Director focused on service and business development. Earlier career positions include Deputy Directorate Manager at Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Service Manager at Burnley NHS Trust, and Business Manager at Bethlem & Maudsley NHS Trust. Sam holds a Master's degree in Philosophy from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies from Humberside University.
