Marta Soldevila

Marta Soldevila, PhD, eMBA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marta is currently working at GC Aesthetics as the Global Medical Liaison & GCA Academy Director. Prior to that, they held the position of Global Senior Training Manager & MSL at the same company. In this role, they led the GCA Academy for surgeons and engaged with KOLs.

Before joining GC Aesthetics, Marta worked at AbbVie as an International Clinical Training Manager for Allergan aesthetics. Marta also served as an International Clinical Training Manager at Allergan Medical Institute, where they delivered medical education trainings and co-hosted Expert Forums.

Marta has also worked as a Global Sales Training Manager at Grifols and as a Global Commercial Trainer at Almirall. In these roles, they developed training plans, implemented KPIs globally, and managed online participants. Marta was also recognized for their accomplishments with internal awards.

Earlier in their career, Marta worked as a Regional Application Specialist/MSL at Drager Medical GmbH and as a National Product Specialist/MSL at Fujirebio Europe. Marta gained hands-on experience in medical education, participated in medical advisory boards and user meetings, and managed KOLs.

Marta's work experience also includes a role as a Project Leader in the biotech industry at deCODE genetics and as an Associated Professor in Genetics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Marta Soldevila, PhD, eMBA has a diverse education history. Marta obtained a BsC in Biology, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2000. Marta then went on to earn a PhD in Neurogenetics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2005. In 2006, they completed a postgraduate program in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Marta also pursued further education in language proficiency, completing a CPE in English-Proficiency from the University of Cambridge in 2011. Marta later obtained an Executive MBA from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2013. Most recently, in 2019, they completed a Master program in Medical Affairs (Parkinson) from MPG- European Health School. Marta has also attained additional certifications, including Professional Selling Skills from AchieveGlobal España in 2018, and LTI Conceptual Selling as well as LTI Strategic Selling from Miller Heiman Group in 2017.
