Nicole Arruda is a highly skilled scientist with extensive experience in genomics and molecular biology. Currently serving as Scientist II at GC Therapeutics since September 2024, Nicole previously held the position of Scientist - Genomic Applications at Volta Labs, Inc., where leadership in automating short-read genomics applications was demonstrated. With a background as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, research focused on the cohesin complex's role in genome organization. Earlier roles included investigating behavioral neuroscience as an Undergraduate Researcher at Bridgewater State University and contributing to cancer biology research at Stanford University. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bridgewater State University and a subsequent degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
