Lorenzo Greco

Head of Merchandising at GCDS

Lorenzo Greco began their work experience in 2013 as a Wholesale Merchandiser for Max Mara Fashion Group. In 2016, they joined YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP as a Buyer & Merchandise Planner, and later became a Senior Merchandise Planner in 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Lorenzo worked at Moncler as a WW E-Commerce & Omnichannel Senior Buyer & Planner, and then transitioned to the role of Senior Collection Merchandiser MRTW. Starting in 2022, Lorenzo became the Head of Merchandising at GCDS, where they are responsible for various departments, including Womenswear, Menswear, and Accessories. Lorenzo oversees collection merchandising, retail and visual merchandising, defines objectives and provides strategic direction for short and long-term goals, coordinates with design and product development teams, collaborates with other departments to ensure an efficient go-to-market strategy, and develops marketing strategies for product launches. Lorenzo also maintains relationships with licensors and provides buying guidelines for retail stores.

Lorenzo Greco obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Università degli Studi di Siena from 2009 to 2012. Lorenzo then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Marketing Management from Università Bocconi between 2012 and 2014. In July 2014, they also obtained the Diplôme de français professionnel (DFP) B2 certification from Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de région Paris Ile-de-France.
