Douglas Tynan, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at GCQ Funds Management Pty Ltd since November 2021. Prior to this role, Douglas was a Non-Executive Director and Partner/Investment Analyst at VGI Partners from March 2008 to October 2021, contributing to high conviction global equity management for high net worth individuals and institutions. Earlier, Douglas held positions as Manager of Corporate Finance and Accountant in Assurance Services at BDO in Australia from January 2004 to February 2008. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Australian Securities Institute, and a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Economics degree from The University of Queensland, majoring in Finance and Accounting.
