James Papazis

James Papazis has a diverse work experience starting in 2005 as AB Tankerman and Second Mate at K-Sea Transportation, Inc. In 2007, they worked as a Summer Legal Intern at Water Quality Insurance Syndicate and also held roles at APM Terminals as Assistant Operations Manager, Assistant Maintenance Manager, and Assistant Manager Safety and Compliance. From 2005 to 2015, they served as Lieutenant SSO Program in the US Navy Reserve. In 2012, they joined GCube Insurance as a Senior Claims Representative and Subrogation Manager, then moved to North American Claims and Legal Counsel, and currently holds the position of Director Of Operations and Legal Counsel.

James Papazis earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 2005. James later pursued a Juris Doctor degree at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University from 2008 to 2011.
