Mark Barron

Mark Barron possesses extensive experience in network facility operations and engineering, with a current role as Network Facility Operations and Maintenance Manager at Global Cloud Xchange since 2014. Prior experience includes serving as Global Facilities Engineering Manager at Reliance Globalcom, as well as various managerial positions at FLAG Telecom, including Global Facilities Project and Colo Implementation Manager and Facilities Design and Implementation Manager. Mark's career began with a role as Backhaul Design Authority for the Flag Atlantic 1 Project and a capacity management consultancy at Hermes Europe Railtel. Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Electronic Systems Engineering - Telecoms from the University of Essex and additional education from Ipswich Tech College and Cambridge College of Arts and Technology.
