Adam MacDonald

Adam MacDonald has a diverse work history in the cinema and media industry. Adam most recently served as the European Sales Manager at GDC Technology Limited, where they were responsible for selling digital cinema solutions. Prior to that, they held the position of Regional Sales Head at Sony Professional Solutions Europe and worked as an EMEA Cinema Consultant at RealD on a 6-month interim contract. Adam has also served as the European Sales Director at both MasterImage 3D and Panavision, and as Senior Sales Manager at Datasat Digital Entertainment. Earlier in their career, they worked as a National Account Manager at 20th Century Fox and The National Screen Service (NSS). Adam began their career as an Advertising Sales Manager at Northern and Shell Media.

Adam MacDonald obtained a BA (HONS) degree in Media, Film & Cultural Studies from Liverpool John Moores University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Greenhead College from 1993 to 1995, where they earned an A-Level degree in Psychology and English Language. In addition to their formal education, Adam MacDonald has achieved the title of Associate Member of Chartered Management Institute (ACMI) from the Chartered Management Institute in May 2014.
