Noriyuki Mibuchi

Noriyuki Mibuchi has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Noriyuki started their career at IMAGICA Corp. in 1996, where they were responsible for marketing and sales of digital film scanners and CG software in the US. Noriyuki continued in a similar role at IMAGICA Corp. of America from 2002 to 2005, where they also managed marketing and sales for digital film scanners and CG software, along with additional duties such as updating the company's homepage.

In 2005, Mibuchi joined IMAGICA Corp. again, this time in the business development department, focusing on acquiring and developing new businesses in the acquisition/post/theater industry. Noriyuki then moved to Sony in 2007, taking on the role of Business Development. At Sony, they were responsible for marketing and sales of projectors, managing marketing and MARCOM teams, and working closely with management and product planning to develop business strategies. Noriyuki also gathered and analyzed sales data using SQL.

In 2009, Mibuchi transitioned to the role of Marketing Manager at Sony, where they continued to work on global marketing and mid-to-long term strategies for projector business. In 2012, they were promoted to Senior Marketing Manager, overseeing global marketing and MARCOM teams and identifying competitors and market trends. During this time, they also utilized quantitative data analysis for further insights.

From 2017 to 2020, Mibuchi worked at SONY (CHINA) CO., LTD as the Marketing Director. In this role, they managed marketing staff, handled marketing for digital cinema projectors and COB large display "CLED" in China mainland, and was responsible for P/L, budget achievement, promotional planning, pricing optimization, and pipeline management. Noriyuki also worked on the launch of a new Chinese exclusive projector.

Currently, since 2020, Mibuchi is serving as the Co President of GDC Technology Limited, Japan, and will soon become the President in November 2022.

Noriyuki Mibuchi began their education at Keio University in 1992 and completed their degree in Anthropology in 1996. In 1999, they obtained a Diplome d'Aptitude Pratique au Francais (DAPF) NIVEAU 2 (superieur1) from the institution Diplome d'Aptitude Pratique au Francais. In 2009, they obtained a TOEIC score of 960 from The TOEIC Program. Recently, in August 2020, they obtained HSK class 6 (Chinese simplified) certification from the Hanban Confucius Institute.
