Eric Poulin

Eric Poulin has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security and information technology. Eric started their career as a Drafter at Jensen Stenbak, Inc. in 1997 and also worked as an Employee at OEM Marketing, Inc., where they were responsible for maintenance and support of Macintosh computer systems. In 2001, they joined Revit Inc. as a Client Support Architect.

After that, Poulin worked at Koetter Kim & Associates as a Systems Administrator, managing all technology and computing needs for the firm. Eric then joined Bergmeyer Associates, Inc. as a Systems Administrator, where they provided IT roadmap, implementation, and end-user support.

In 2009, Poulin joined Lockheed Martin Information Technology as an Information Security Representative, acting as the principal security department representative for a division of the company. Eric then moved to MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 2010, continuing as an Information Security Representative.

From 2011 to 2016, Poulin worked at GE Global Research, where they held various roles, including Information System Security Manager and Security Awareness Program Lead, and later Senior Security Architect.

In 2016, Poulin joined GE Digital as the Director of Security Architecture, leading a global team of security architects. Eric was then promoted to Senior Staff Product Security Leader and was responsible for driving Cloud and OT security requirements and implementation throughout the company.

Since 2019, Poulin has been working at GE Aviation, first as a Principal Product Security Leader, where they worked with GE Aviation lines of businesses to define solution requirements and guide the deployment of cloud security strategies. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director - Cyber Security Technology Strategy & Management.

Throughout their career, Poulin has demonstrated strong leadership skills, the ability to develop strategies, and a focus on implementing comprehensive security solutions.

Eric Poulin earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree in Architecture and Computer Information Systems from Roger Williams University from 1996 to 2001. Eric then pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, Eric obtained several certifications, including GIAC Advisory Board and GIAC Cloud Security Automation Certification from GIAC Certifications in July 2020. Eric also holds certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in 2019, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) in 2016, Information Systems Security Management Professional (CISSP-ISSMP) in 2011, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2009.
