Najeeb Aqel

Najeeb Aqel is a Senior Software Engineer at GE Aerospace, focusing on the application of AI within the aerospace industry since September 2024. Previously, Najeeb held positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Core Tech Engineer specializing in computer vision and machine learning at PXL Vision from August 2019 to September 2024, where responsibilities included improving algorithms and prototyping new solutions. Najeeb contributed as a Computer Vision Engineer and Campus Representative for the Clinton Global Initiative from December 2018 to September 2024. Najeeb served as a mentor and hacker at the NYU Abu Dhabi International Hackathon, participated as a speaker at TED Conferences, and co-founded VisionX, acting as CTO. Najeeb has also held ambassador roles at IEEEmadC and IEEE Region 8, organized competitions for the Palestine Programming Olympiad, and holds degrees in Computer Engineering and American Studies from An-Najah National University, alongside various certifications in innovation and web development from recognized institutions.
