Sarah Knife currently serves as the Chief Consulting Engineer at GE Aviation, a position held since September 2014. In this role, Sarah leads and develops product safety and reliability disciplines within the aircraft engine sector, overseeing the implementation of a formal Safety Management System and guiding Product Safety and Reliability teams through multiple product design and development cycles. Prior to this, Sarah worked as a Principal Engineer at GE from 2003 to 2011. Sarah holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautics from Cranfield University and a B.Sc. in Physics from The University of Manchester, alongside completing high school at Dame Allan's Girls.
