Amber Glisson

Amber Glisson is a Principal UX Strategist at GE Appliances, a Haier company, since November 2015, following a role as Senior User Experience Designer. Amber has over a decade of experience in the design and advertising industry, including a position as Art Director and Project Manager at VIA Studio from January 2010 to November 2015 and as Art Director at Red Giant Advertising from March 2003 to October 2009. Earlier in their career, Amber held roles such as Web Designer/Developer at Schmitt Photo and Freelance Photo Assistant at Daniel Knight Studio B Photography. Amber began their professional journey as an intern at Buzzbait in 2001. Amber holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photo, Film, and Electronic Media from the University of Illinois Chicago, where studies were completed from 1998 to 2001, and also attended the University of Central Florida from 1996 to 1998.
