Amin Firouzi

Amin Firouzi, PhD, is a Principal Scientist and Team Lead for Water Filtration Product Development at GE Appliances, a Haier company, where responsibilities include leading the LINC employee resource group and overseeing various strategic initiatives. Amin also serves as a Senior Scientist at the Water Equipment & Policy Research Center, contributing to innovative solutions for drinking water and wastewater needs. Previous experience includes leadership roles at the International Maritime College Oman, where management of faculty and student development occurred, and positions at various educational institutions including Universities in the Netherlands and Italy, focusing on materials engineering and chemical process engineering research. Amin holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, complemented by an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mazandaran.
