Timothy Barnhart

Timothy Barnhart, PE, currently serves as Senior Systems Engineering Manager at Hepburn and Sons LLC since July 2024. Prior to this role, Timothy held various positions at GE, including Manufacturing and Operations Leader for GE Vernova, where responsibilities encompassed managing the EHS environment and overseeing production for power converters. As System Engineering Manager at GE Power Conversion, Timothy led all systems engineering efforts in North America, fulfilling customer orders and managing engineering teams. Additional experience includes roles such as Marine Team Leader and Lead Marine Systems Engineer, where Timothy focused on marine power and propulsion solutions for naval applications. Timothy's career also includes project management roles at Fragomen, Arconic, and Alcoa, as well as significant engineering responsibilities with the US Navy. Timothy holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
