Thomas Westrick

President & CEO, Patient Care Solutions at GE Healthcare Systems

Thomas Westrick is President & Chief Executive Officer of Patient Care Solutions at GE HealthCare. In this role, Tom leads a Strategic Business Unit that provides clinicians and frontline caregivers with a variety of virtual and digital solutions and medical devices including cardiology, monitoring, maternal infant care, anesthesia, acute and respiratory care.

In his previous role, Tom led the Global Quality, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, and Global Research organization and provided strategic direction on regulatory affairs, policy, clinical and medical matters, ensuring the highest quality of our products, services, and regulatory requirements are met, and products are introduced to markets around the world efficiently and effectively.

He joined GE HealthCare in 2003 as Global Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. He was also named Chief Risk Officer in 2010 and was responsible for driving a comprehensive enterprise risk management program. In 2014, he was given responsibility for the overall process simplification for GE HealthCare.

Prior to joining GE HealthCare, Tom spent 13 years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP in San Francisco and Milwaukee in the audit and consulting practice serving a variety of complex global companies.

Tom has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, risk management, and insurance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He currently serves on the Deans Advisory Board for the Wisconsin School of Business.
