Halis Günal

Halis Günal is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, specializing in large-scale project management. Currently serving as Lead Turnkey Project Manager at GE Vernova since November 2025, Halis previously held significant roles at Çalık Enerji from April 2014 to November 2025, including Electrical I&C Manager and Electrical Group Chief, where notable projects included the successful completion of the 900 MW Turakurgan combined cycle power plant and the 1574 MW Mary Project. Earlier experience includes serving as Substation Project General Coordinator at Met Enerji Üretim A.Ş and as Electrical Site Engineer at Setmaş, following a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Firat University.
