Scott Strazik is the Chief Executive Officer of GE Vernova, leading efforts to accelerate energy transition and sustainability in the electric power sector since November 2021. Prior to this role, Scott served as the CEO of GE Power for over eight years, overseeing a global energy business committed to decarbonizing power generation. Scott held various leadership positions within GE, including President & CEO of Power Services, where a significant global services strategy was developed, and Vice President roles in both Gas Power Systems and financial operations. Additionally, Scott has extensive experience from General Electric, spanning roles such as CFO for GE Aviation's Commercial Engine Operations and multiple positions within corporate finance and audit functions. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Economic Policy & Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University.
