Suvarna Bokil

Suvarna Bokil is an experienced engineering professional specializing in high voltage direct current (HVDC) projects. Currently serving as the Lead Project Engineer for HVDC Projects at GE Vernova since January 2024, Suvarna previously held similar roles at GE Renewable Energy from November 2015 to January 2024, including positions as Lead Controls Engineer and Lead Project Engineer focusing on control and protection system hardware delivery. Prior experience includes roles as Controls Engineer at ALSTOM Grid from September 2012 to October 2015 and as Graduate Electrical Engineer at Alstom Grid UK Ltd from September 2010 to August 2012. Suvarna holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Technology for Sustainable and Renewable Energy Systems from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
