Elisabeth Alfheim

Elisabeth Alfheim is an experienced professional in marine insurance and legal affairs, currently serving as the Head of Marine Insurance at Gearbulk since August 2023. Prior to this role, Elisabeth worked as Claims Manager Crew P&I at Marine Benefits from April 2016 to July 2023, and held various positions at Norwegian Hull Club as a Lawyer. Elisabeth's extensive experience includes a significant tenure at Odfjell SE, where roles spanned from Claims Handler to Manager of Insurance & Legal. Elisabeth also gained valuable experience as an Associate Lawyer at DLA Piper Singapore Pte Ltd for a brief period and as a Senior Executive Officer at the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration. Elisabeth holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Bergen and further academic experience from the University of Oslo and the Norwegian School of Economics.
