Heather Aldrich

Heather Aldrich is an experienced mathematics educator with a current role as a Mathematics Teacher at Geary County USD 475 since July 2021. In addition, Aldrich serves as a Mathematics Adjunct Instructor at Butler Community College, teaching Calculus 1 and 2, along with Business Calculus. Previous positions include Mathematics Instructor at Wichita Public Schools and Winfield USD 465, focusing on high school mathematics and incorporating innovative teaching methods such as the "flipped classroom" concept. Aldrich's background in mathematics education is complemented by extensive experience in engineering roles at companies including Hawker Beechcraft and Raytheon Aircraft Company, as well as military service as a Missile Combat Crew Commander with the USAF. Aldrich holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and an MA in Teaching from Emporia State University and Wichita State University, respectively, alongside an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
