Matthew Lemon

Matthew Lemon has extensive experience in both education and military leadership. Currently serving as a Student Support Monitor and Paraprofessional at Geary County USD 475 since August 2017, Matthew previously held the position of Operations NCO and Military Science Instructor at the University of Notre Dame Army ROTC from May 2013 to October 2015. Matthew's military career includes a tenure in the US Army from February 2006 to May 2013, where roles included Platoon Sergeant, Operations NCO, Rear Detachment First Sergeant, and Squad Leader, showcasing exemplary leadership and mentorship skills. Earlier service with The Old Guard involved significant responsibilities, including participation in over 300 funerals at Arlington National Cemetery and deployment to Djibouti in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Columbia Southern University and an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice Technology from UC Clermont College.
