Tobias Knechtle

Tobias Knechtle is an experienced professional with a diverse range of roles in finance and leadership. Tobias is currently serving as the Group CFO at Geberit since November 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Board Member and Audit Committee Chair at V-ZUG AG since May 2020. Tobias has also served as a board member at various start-ups and growth companies since January 2012.

In addition, Tobias Knechtle has worked as the CFO and investor at Innoterra from 2020 until 2021. Tobias was the CFO of Valora Group and a member of the Executive Board from March 2014 to December 2019. Tobias was responsible for heading Finance, IR, HR, and Group Transformation at Valora, a company with over 2,800 outlets located in several European countries.

Before working at Valora, Tobias Knechtle held finance leadership roles at Kudelski Group from 2009 to 2014, including Senior Vice President Finance and VP Finance - Head of Controlling and Audit. Tobias also served as a Principal and Managing Director at Cinven (Private Equity) from 2005 to 2009.

Earlier in their career, Tobias Knechtle worked as a Board Member at Springer Science+Business Media from 2007 to 2009 and as a Project Manager at The Boston Consulting Group from 1998 to 2005. Tobias began their career as a Senior Auditor at Nestlé from 1995 to 1998.

Tobias Knechtle has an education history that includes attending IMD in the year 2020, where they studied High Performance Leadership. Prior to that, they attended the University of Bern from 1991 to 1995. Tobias pursued a degree in Business Administration and successfully obtained a lic. rer. pol degree.
