Akshay Waghmare

Akshay Waghmare is a Software Engineer at Atlan since June 2025, focusing on the development and optimization of infrastructure tooling for the company's global-scale data platform. In addition, Akshay is a contributor for Google Summer of Code 2025 at Zendalona, enhancing accessibility features for the Ubuntu 24.04 Desktop Provision Installer. As the Overall Coordinator at GeekHaven, IIIT Allahabad, Akshay manages a society of over 60 members and oversees the Nybles blog, which attracts around 30K views monthly. Akshay is also the Founder of Wemofy, delivering technology solutions to over 41 global clients, and previously completed a Software Engineer internship at a stealth AI startup, leading the development of a scalable screening platform. Akshay is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, expected to graduate in June 2026.
