Mekedes Dejenie

Mekedes Dejenie is a Collective Youth organizer at Geeking Out Kids of Color (GOKiC) and a Lead Instructor and Developer, teaching programming and computing through an anti-racist lens. They are also a Software Engineer Intern at Rewriting the Code, a Microsoft Student Learn Ambassador, and have experience in various tech-related roles at companies like HuskyTech and Microsoft. Additionally, Mekedes has been involved in community outreach efforts to make STEM more accessible and bridge the tech gap in East Africa.
