Chief Marketing Officer at Geek+

Hong Yu is the Chief Marketing Officer at Geek+. Hong has over fifteen years of experience in marketing, including stints at Amazon, Microsoft China, and Intel Corporation.

Hong began their career at Intel in September 2005 as a Digital Marketing Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the Geo Strategy, Planning, Execution, M&A, and Optimization for Intel's global digital campaigns. Hong also managed a team of people responsible for social media, SEM, SEO, Intel.com, IT verticals, online retail, mobile marketing, EDM, and Digital media plans.

In January 2011, Hong was promoted to Digital Globalization Manager at Intel. In this role, they led a team that revised the Digital Globailzation strategy/framework for Intel's global digital campaigns. Hong left Intel in May 2011 to join Microsoft China as their Central Marketing Organization Director.

At Microsoft China, Hong was responsible for leading the CMO team and driving results. Hong left Microsoft China in November 2014 to join Amazon as their Head of Kindle Marketing China.

In their current role as Chief Marketing Officer at Geek+, Hong is responsible for leading the company's marketing efforts and driving growth.

They are on a team with Hongyan Liu - Chief Financial Officer, Xi Chen - Co-founder, VP, Robots R&D, and Kai Liu - Co-founder, VP, Product BU. Hong Yu reports to Yong Zheng, Founder and CEO.
