Faizan Amjad

Faizan Amjad has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Software Developer at Daastan, where they were responsible for software development and maintenance support for a job portal. In 2014, they became a Freelancer on Fiverr, specializing in C#.NET programming and Azure expertise. Faizan showcased their leadership skills and problem-solving abilities while working on various projects. In 2016, Faizan joined Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Trainer, delivering technical training on Microsoft technologies throughout Pakistan. The following year, they joined Nowtel Group as a Senior Software Developer, working on ASPNET CORE and WEB API projects, as well as managing the website life cycle. Finally, in 2018, Faizan joined Geeks Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, where they later became the Lead Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for architecting Cloud and AI solutions, leading a development team, and supporting business analysts and sales teams in delivering customer-focused solutions.

Faizan Amjad pursued their education at the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Cadet College Hasanabdal from 2009 to 2011, completing their high school education with a focus on Pre-Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Faizan obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In 2015, they obtained the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification and the MS: Programming in C# certification. In 2016, they became a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). Over the years, Faizan continued to enhance their skills in Microsoft Azure, achieving multiple certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate in 2019, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate in 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert expected by December 2022, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate in 2019. Faizan also gained expertise in Microsoft Power BI as a Power BI Data Analyst Associate in 2021. Furthermore, Faizan obtained the MCSD: Windows Store Apps Using C# certification in 2015.
