Kara W. Price

Kara’s diverse background in marketing, project development, and governmental relations has helped her lead more than 1 GW of solar projects through successful permitting processes. Kara ensures Geenex’s projects have met all the due diligence and legal standards required to make each site shovel-ready. Her responsibilities include engaging in community and stakeholder outreach, managing required timelines, applying for and obtaining local and state permits, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting throughout the project’s development cycle.

A native North Carolinian, Kara is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Journalism. Her writing and marketing experience is helpful to her secondary role at Geenex as marketing director.
