Pedro Velazco

Pedro Velazco is an experienced engineering and project management professional currently serving as the Senior Staff Manager of Engineering & Design for Border Operations at GE HealthCare since March 2024. Previously, Pedro held the position of Senior Project Manager - Engineering Technical Authority at Amgen, supporting the startup of a new automated manufacturing site. Pedro's extensive experience at BD included roles as Senior Manager of Engineering and Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager, overseeing critical projects and operations within the vascular product business. Prior experience includes serving as a Lean-Sigma Black Belt and Projects Consultant at IngenioRx, and as a Lean-Sigma Black Belt and Program Manager at COVIDIEN, focusing on operational excellence. Pedro holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a BS in Engineering in Electronics from Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Juárez.
