Andrew Young

Andrew Young is an experienced architectural historian currently working at GEI Consultants, Inc. since April 2024. Prior to this role, Andrew served as Historian I at JRP Historical Consulting, LLC from March 2021 to April 2024, where responsibilities included fieldwork and archival research focusing on historic property types in California and Nevada. Earlier positions included Research Assistant II and Research Assistant I, which involved documenting built environment cultural resources and preparing compliance documentation for various historical preservation acts. Other professional experience includes serving as Service Manager at Prestige Autohaus and Property Manager at Bjerre & Garcia Realty, Inc. Andrew holds a Master of Arts in Public/Applied History from California State University-Sacramento and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Davis.
