Ben Emery

Ben Emery, E.I.T., currently serves as a Staff Geotechnical Engineer at GEI Consultants, Inc. since March 2023. Previously, Ben held the position of Geotechnical Staff Project Manager at ECS Limited from September 2021 to November 2022, managing various subsurface exploration and construction materials testing projects. Additional experience includes a Civil Engineering Internship in the Water Division at Black & Veatch, where Ben contributed to municipal wastewater projects, and work as a Supplementary Lab Technician at S&ME, Inc., performing laboratory tests on asphalt and concrete. Prior roles encompass providing on-site materials testing services at Consulting Services Incorporated and assisting with utility relocations at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Ben holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisville, completed in May 2022.
