Ahmed Syed

Ahmed Syed is an experienced data engineering professional with a strong background in business intelligence and analytics. Currently serving as Data Engineering Manager and Technical Team Lead at GEICO since October 2016, Ahmed is responsible for the architecture and administration of BI platforms. Prior roles include Senior System Engineer and Senior Business Intelligence Consultant at Deloitte, where responsibilities included designing analytic solutions tailored to organizational structures. Additionally, Ahmed has provided best practices in business intelligence and deployable analytics solutions while working with Deloitte Managed Analytics, The Glenture Group, LLC, Amgen, and RITNOA in various consulting and development capacities. Ahmed holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Stratford University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Osmania University, along with a certification in Finance from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
