René Escobar

René Escobar, CPA, is a seasoned auditing professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as a Senior Auditor at GEICO since March 2021, René has previously held positions at Deloitte from September 2016 to March 2021, progressing from Audit & Assurance Assistant to Audit & Assurance Senior. Prior experience includes a role as a Bank Teller at BB&T from October 2013 to January 2016. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Information Systems obtained from the University of Maryland between 2014 and 2016, along with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Anne Arundel Community College from 2009 to 2014.
