Dave Hood

Dave Hood is an accomplished business professional with extensive experience in business development, teaching, and strategic leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Development at Procurant USA since October 2018, Dave focuses on developing external sales channels, overseeing a technology partner program centered on IoT and Blockchain, and managing acquisition strategies. In addition, Dave teaches business information system technology courses at Cabrillo Community College and serves as a board member for Geil Enterprises Inc, which provides security and janitorial services. Previously, Dave held the vice president position at SensorThink, where responsibilities included leading an IoT technology partner program, and served as president of First Alarm for nearly three decades, overseeing all organizational operations, financials, and technology hardware selections. Dave holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Golden Gate University.
