Alex Zimmerman

Alex Zimmerman has extensive experience in healthcare leadership, primarily with Geisinger from January 2016 to the present, serving in various senior roles including Interim Chief Administrative Officer for the Central Region and Vice President for the Heart-Vascular & Neuroscience Institutes. Prior to that, Alex held the position of Director of Advisory Services at xG Health Solutions, where responsibilities included guiding organizations in implementing care delivery pathways using the ProvenCare® Methodology. Alex's healthcare career began at Geisinger Medical Center, progressing from Registered Nurse to Clinic Team Leader between June 2008 and January 2013. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master's degree in Nursing Administration from Commonwealth University-Mansfield, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from American Sentinel University.
