Ana Tellechea, PharmD, PhD has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Ana Tellechea, began their career in 2006 as a Visiting PharmD Student at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they worked on a project involving the microencapsulation of cis-Cypermethrin insecticides. In the same year, they also began working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Coimbra, where they worked on projects related to nanomedicine and new therapeutic strategies, as well as the role of Neuropeptide Y in the proliferation of progenitor cells in the retinas of rats. In 2010, they began a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, where they worked on projects related to dressings to deliver novel mast cell stabilizers for the treatment of diabetic wounds, healing of diabetic ulcers with gaseous nitric oxide generated from room air, and the role of macrophages in impaired wound healing in type 1 diabetes. In 2016, they began a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at New York University, where they investigated the role of calreticulin in extracellular matrix induction for tissue repair and regeneration, as well as the interaction between calreticulin and Wnt signaling in hair follicle neogenesis. Since 2018, they have been working at Gel4Med, Inc., where they have held the roles of Science Consultant, Product Development Manager, and Senior Product Development Manager.

Ana Tellechea, PharmD, PhD has an extensive educational background. From 2000 to 2006, they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the Universidade de Coimbra. From 2009 to 2014, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the same university. From 2015 to 2016, they obtained a Post-doctorate from Harvard Medical School in Biological and Biomedical Sciences. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, they obtained a Post-Doctorate from New York Medicine Jobs in Molecular Biology.
